All Hell Breaks Loose Between Wild and Stars In The Preseason.

The National Hockey League season may not have officially started just yet but there's no question that the NHL is back baby!

On Friday night we saw that first hand when the Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars seemed to forget that this was supposed to be an exhibition contest. Despite the fact that these games don't matter, it was a tightly contested affair between the Stars and Wild last night with the Stars eventually taking a 2-1 win that won't count in the standings.

You wouldn't have known it if you had judged by the way the players reacted late in the third period however, with all hell breaking loose as tempers flared on both sides of the ice. There were fights and scuffles all over the ice as seemingly everyone on both sides of this Central Division rivalry got involved at one point or another during what was an extremely heated exchange.

It was Wild forward Michael McCarron who really seemed to lose it with even the NHL officials on the ice struggling to regain control of the situation while McCarron was flailing wildly trying to unload as much punishment as he could on whomever he could get his hands on.

If this is what this rivalry looks like in the preseason, I can't wait to see the regular season clashes between these two teams.
