An absolute nightmare start for Stuart Skinner and the Oilers in Game 4

The Edmonton Oilers have had an absolutely disastrous start to Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers this evening.

Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk lit up Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner for two goals early and Anton Lundell added another to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead after just 20 minutes.

Yeesh...

Skinner has been pulled through 20 minutes and has been replaced by backup Calvin Pickard.

Pardon my language, but this game... just like game 3... has all the makings of an absolute shit kicking this evening. How, how, HOW can the Oilers lay an egg like this for the second game in a row? Penalties got them in trouble early in Game 3 and it appears that they've learned nothing, based on their play this evening.

Some things never change, I guess.

Just as he did in Game 3, Panthers backup Vitek Vanecek got in Stuart Skinner's face during warm-up skate in an effort to disrupt Skinner's usual pre-game routine.
