An emotional David Pastrnak shares huge news for his family

Last year, tragic news surfaced that Boston Bruins star forward David Pastrnak and his girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson had tragically lost their newborn son Viggo when the infant was just six days old. Pastrnak made the announcement during the offseason and requested privacy regarding the matter.

On Thursday night, there was finally a beautiful news to announce when it comes to the Pastrnak family. The forward and Rebecca have welcomed a baby girl. Pastrnak shared photos of Freya Ivy Pastrnak on Instagram page.

“We’ve dreamt about this moment for long time and I couldn’t be more proud of my two beautiful girls,” Pastrnak wrote. “I can’t wait to watch you be the best mamma to our little nugget.”

The Boston Bruins congratulated the couple: “We are so happy for you!” the team said when they repost the news on its Twitter account.
