Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Stuart Skinner makes his return to Edmonton this evening for the first time since last month's trade from the Edmonton Oilers.

Unfortunately for Skinner, he won't get the start in goal. He's been hot lately with a 6-1 record in his last 7 games but backup Arturs Silovs will get the start this evening against former Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry.

With Skinner riding the pine tonight, his gameday commitments are much fewer and he was actually able to free himself up this morning to take in the Oilers' gameday skate.

Check out Skinner watching his former team and catching up with his former teammates:

Is it just me or does Skinner look a whole lot different without the weight of Oil Country on his back? His 1.58 GAA and .933 SV% stats since settling in in Pittsburgh seem to confirm this.
