You may recall that earlier this season an Instagram model named Lauren Mochen made some pretty serious allegations against Ottawa Senators forward Arthur Kaliyev, accusing him of ripping her and her family off for over $50,000 to pay off gambling debts.

The NHL got wind of the allegations and they launched an investigation back in October.

Today, TSN insider Darren Dreger reports that the league's investigation is nearly its conclusion and that, so far, the league has "found no evidence of any violation."

"At this point it doesn't appear that Kaliyev has been found of doing anything that crosses the line," Dreger reported on TSN's Insider Trading segment earlier today.

Read below for our earlier report on this developing story, published as events occurred.

Arthur Kaliyev, formerly of the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers and now with the Ottawa Senators, has seemingly always been surrounded by controversy.

Hardcore hockey fans will remember the controversy surrounding Kaliyev prior to the 2019 NHL Entry Draft with rumors swirling that he was... well... not who he claimed to be. There were rumors in the OHL way back as far as 2016 that he was Kaliyev was not actually a 1999 birth year and was actually older than he presented. Then there's the issue of his passport... officially Kaliyev was born in Uzbekistan and moved to New York when he was two years old. But then there are reports that he was actually born in New York in 2001.

So, again, it's safe to say that controversy has a way of following this guy around.

Which leads us to the latest controversy today.

Instagram model Lauren Mochen alleged in a series of TikTok videos yesterday that Kaliyev scammed and extorted her and her family out of $50,000 over a three year period.

Essentially Mochen alleges that Kaliyev fabricated a story that his family was stealing his money, when in reality he was gambling it all away. He used her and her family to the tune of $50,000 over a three year period and gambled it all away.

If you're so inclined you can watch Lauren's entire explanation in a 33 part TikTok video. I'll spare you the entire sequence, but here are a few to get you started:

I'm not gonna lie... I don't have the attention or the stomach to view all 33 of these...

It's hard to feel sympathy for a rich Insta model getting ripped off by a rich NHLer.

In any case, I know what you're really here for, gentlemen. So here are some pics from her Insta:
