Andersen's shut out may have altered Mike Babcock's goaltending plans.

A change in plans for the Leafs net?

It seems head coach Mike Babcock remains flexible in his goaltending decisions.

While Babcock had previously gone on the record to state that backup netminder Antoine Bibeau would be getting a shot in the Leafs back to back games, the shut out from starter Frederik Andersen may have altered his plans.

Bibeau was one of three player at the Leafs optional skate this morning, indicating that it was unlikely he would be the starter on Friday night, perhaps with Babcock wanting to give Andersen a chance to head into the holidays with some serious momentum.

It makes a great deal of sense, Andersen had a very rough start to the season but has had a remarkable bounce back since his struggles, and a confidence boost could be exactly what he needs.
