She Told Him the AM of Game 7

The Ottawa Senators goaltender learned in late October that his wife, Nicholle Anderson, had been diagnosed with cancer. Since then he’s done a tremendous job of juggling his commitments to both his family and his teammates, all while facing tremendous emotional pressure. He has been in and out of the Sens lineup all year so that he could be by his wife’s side while she suffered through cancer treatment.

Anderson revealed crucial details on his wife Nicholle on locker clean-out day. As reported by Bruce Garrioch, post media hockey columnist at the Ottawa Sun, Nicholle would have told him AM of Game 7 that all her scans have back “clean.”

Anderson says Nicholle informed him the AM of Game 7 all her scans have back ‘clean.’ ‘She didn’t want to tell me,’ said Anderson.

This is incredible news and we hope she will be stable as long as possible. Their story is certainly one to be remembered and touch many around the hockey world.
