Another lead going into the third, another loss for the Leafs

They are very young and have a lot to learn

We all know that this is going to be a long and painful season. It is just even more painful when your team has a tendency to lose leads late.

For the Toronto Maple Leafs, this is the case at the moment. The Leafs have had the lead going into the third period of every game so far but have only one win. The worst part is how late it is when the other teams come back. Tonight the Blackhawks scored goals with 2:28 and 1:28 left in the third period to tie the game.

Let's make no mistake, the Leafs future is very bright. They have many great young talents currently on the team. Players like Matthews, Nylander, Marner have already shown us how talented they are with flashes of brilliance. Matthews set the rookie record by scoring 4 goals in his first game. But we have to remember how young they are and that there are going to be a lot of growing pains.

We have a lot to look forward to Leaf fans, but this year doesn't seem like it is going to be a lot of fun.
