Best of luck to him.

Just days after it was announced that troubled Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic was entering the NHLPA Player Assistance Program, another player is set to do the same.
Minutes ago, it was announced that Colorado Avalanche forward Samuel Girard will be entering:
According to a statement made by Girard, he will be receiving treatment for severe anxiety that has led to alcohol abuse:
According to CapFriendly, Girardi’s cap hit will still count against Colorado’s books; the team can, however, place him on LTIR if he misses more than 24 days and 10 games
And understandable, the announcement has been met with an outpouring of well wishes for Girard’s mental well being.
