Sometimes, a bitter rival just lives rent free in your heads - even when you're not facing them.
We had a perfect example of that during last night's game between the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning, two noted rivals of the Toronto Maple Leafs who have also ended their season in brutal fashion in recent memory.
And just for the fun of it, several fans in attendance at Amalie Arena decided to break out in anti-Leafs chants:
