I'm going to show my bias a little bit here, but I'm not a fan of Michael Bunting. Never have been, probably never will be.
The guy is a whiner, a diver and just plain unsportsmanlike in my mind.
Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins forward just confirmed my feelings for him by taking a swing at Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj while down on the ice. Bunting gets thrown around like a sack of potatoes and then lays on the ice like he's going down for an afternoon nap, all while Xhekaj stands over him demanding that he get up.
Check it out:
Gee... I wonder why the Penguins have had a 'culture problem' the last two seasons? Might it have something to do with Bunting and his good buddy in the front office Kyle Dubas?
