If the St. Louis Blues go on to lose this game, this play may come back to haunt them.

During the first five minutes of the second period in Game 4 of the second round Stanley Cup Playoff series between the Blues and the Dallas Stars, rookie defenseman  Joel Edmundson, made a very rookie mistake at a critical moment in the game.

Edmundson appeared to rush out his attempt at a pass, or a potential clearing attempt, and the end result was a picture perfect pass to Radek Faksa who unfortunately plays for the opposing team. Faksa made it count and tied the game up for the Stars, and each team would add one more before heading in to overtime.
