As many as four players on the move in big trade rumor.

We have a big trade rumor, one that involves a four player deal and perhaps some additional moving parts.

According to a report from Fansided via The Hockey Press, the Minnesota Wild have offered the Edmonton Oilers both defenseman Matt Dumba, as well as forward Jason Zucker, in exchange for forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins as well as forward Benoit Pouliot. This is not a done deal, and it's believed that the stick point as of now is the Oilers request for additional value in the deal, specifically in the form of a draft pick.

While the trade seems like a relatively balanced deal on the surface, the Wild do not have the cap space to make this work, which means another piece would have to be in play here in order for this deal to become a reality. The Oilers could retain salary to make this work, but that would likely be where the request for a draft pick would come in, and the more salary the Oilers are asked to retain the higher that draft pick demand will be.

The Dumba to Edmonton rumor has been around for some time, and it sounds like both parties do want to get this one done, so stay tuned to this one.
