Auston Matthews leaves Game 4 under mysterious circumstances!

This is not good for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Maple Leafs have confirmed that star forward Auston Matthews has been knocked out of Game 4, and at the time of this writing the reason for his sudden absence is unknown.

Matthews did not come out for the third period with the rest of his teammates.

If I had to speculate I would wager that an injury is the likely culprit, although I have no information to suggest that is the case. At this time of year teams are extremely secretive about injuries, and even potential injuries, to their players and that would certainly be the case when it comes to a player the caliber of Matthews.
