Auston Matthews’ sister is trending… more than her brother!

Auston Matthews was the real winner of the NHL awards on Tuesday night, taking home the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s most valuable player and the Ted Lindsay Award for most outstanding player as voted on by his peers.

While the spotlight was on him, it didn’t take long to move away and land on his sister as she started trending for looking so beautiful and fabulous at the NHL awards. His parents, Emma and Brian, and talented sisters, Alexandria and Breyana, were in attendance and didn’t go unnoticed.

We get it, Alexandria looks phenomenal. Matthews had his time to shine, becoming becoming only the third Maple Leafs player to win the Hart. He also is the first Leafs player to win the Ted Lindsay Award, given to the most outstanding player in the NHL as voted by the players.

He can share the spotlight.

It might be tough to do though, seeing that Matthews and the Maple Leafs were humiliated in the last minute of NHL awards when host Kenan Thompson let out a joke that had to hurt and humiliate the winner. The camera did not catch Matthews’ reaction to Thompson’s joke, but his comment quickly went viral on social media.

Just like Matthews’ beautiful sisters did.
