We have another trade to report in what is proving to be a busy Sunday in the National Hockey League.
According to a report from NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, the Colorado Avalanche have traded 27 year old defenseman Andreas Englund to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for 36 year old veteran defenseman Jack Johnson.
Johnson has of course previously played for the Colorado Avalanche and was a member of their Stanley Cup winning team in 2022. Keeping that in mind, it makes sense that the Avalanche would be comfortable bringing Johnson back in for another run given the use they had for him last time around.
