Backs up against the wall and the Avs have maybe their weakest lineup for the season.
This just in, Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar confirmed that he'll be making at least one major change for Game 4 of the Western Conference Final this evening.
Goaltender Scott Wedgewood will exit the Avs' goal for the first time this post-season and will be replaced by MacKenzie Blackwood.
As for the rest of the roster... well... we're just going to have to wait and see.
All eyes are on superstars Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon, of course.
Makar was a late addition to the Avs' lineup in Game 3 after missing both Games 1 and 2 with an undisclosed issue. Again, we'll just have to wait and see if the superstar blueliner suits up or not.
As for MacKinnon, he did not join the Avs for their game day skate today but there is speculation that he will dress and at least TRY to play this evening. Valeri Nichushkin, Ross Colton and Brent Burns were also notably absent from today's skate and are also questionable for Game 4. Stay tuned.
