Benn battled the flu during Thursday's game!

As it was reported earlier today, Max Pacioretty, Jonathan Drouin and Jordie Benn battled the flu on Friday and it caused them to miss practice.

It was to a point where Claude Julien was unsure if they would dress on Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. With the season already having more downs than ups, losing three key players before an important divisional match would have been a huge blow for the team.

Thankfully, they're all fine and ready to go tonight.

Benn revealed that he was dealing with the flu during the game, to a point where he blew chunks all over the bench.

Hockey players are notorious for internalizing their problems and fighting through injuries and illness - it's in their blood.

But this is pretty gross.
