The Boston Bruins are making sure to win the battle of rest over rust as they awaited the winner of the St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks series - which could end tonight…

The Bruins got rid of the Carolina Hurricanes so fast in the Eastern Conference finals that now they must wait to get back to action. The Stanley Cup Final will officially start on Monday, May 27th in Boston, which means the Bruins will have had almost two weeks of rest before Game 1. While head coach Bruce Cassidy is making sure his players are staying fit and ready for the most important series thus far, star forward Patrice Bergeron decided to make the best of his time off on Tuesday.

It did involve the ice, but Bergeron made sure his family was involved. He brought his kids to the rink and skated with them in our of the most adorable scenes of the postseason.

I remember staking with my folks as a kid and while winning the Stanley Cup in front of his children would be unforgettable for Bergeron, we bet his kids will never forget spending time with Dad on the ice despite his busy schedule.

Love it.
