Bettman sends a “culture memo” to all 32 NHL teams in the wake of Kyle Beach's story
Yep that'll do the job, Gary. Well done.

In case you missed the news yesterday, former Chicago Blackhawks first round pick Kyle Beach revealed on TSN that he is indeed "John Doe", the man who has alleged that he was assaulted by former Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich.
Furthermore, Beach contends that “everybody in that locker room knew about it,” and that denials from players like Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are lies. Beach specifically singled out former Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville, now of the Florida Panthers, as having intimate knowledge of the abuse and yet he chose to do nothing.
Further to that Beach called out the NHL and the NHLPA for doing nothing despite the fact that he went to high ranking executives in both organizations to get help and to get justice. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA head Donald Fehr both effectively ignored him.
"The NHL denied an investigation," Beach said yesterday to TSN's Rick Westhead. "They wanted nothing to do with it, they didn’t want to touch it. USA Sport also denied doing an investigation."
"I know I reported every single detail to an individual at the NHLPA, who I was put in contact with after," recalled Beach. "I believe two different people talked to Don Fehr. And for him to turn his back on the players when his one job is to protect the players at all costs, I don’t know how that can be your leader. I don’t know how he can be in charge. If that’s what he’s going to do when a player comes to you and tells you something, whether it be abuse, whether it be drugs, whether it be anything, you’re supposed to have the players’ backs and they definitely didn’t have mine."
To his credit Fehr released a statement at about midnight ET last night apologizing that he and the NHLPA failed Beach.
As for Bettman... well... he sent out a "culture memo" to NHL teams earlier today.
Seriously...
Great job, Gary. You really put in a full day's work there.
Hit send on that email and call it a day, Big Shot...
