Bruins’ prospect Peter Cehlarik feels ready to take on a role with the team.

The 21-year old was selected in the 3rd round (90th overall) in the 2013 Entry Draft and spent the last few years playing in Europe, posting 11 goals and 20 points in 46 games for Lulea in the Swedish League.

“It’s a dream to be here […]. I know I’m going to try to learn a lot from them and try to make the team,” explained the 6-foot-2, 202-pound Slovakian.

When asked about Cehlarik, Joe Sacco, Bruins’ assistant coach said that "he's a big, strong kid. His ability to hang onto pucks [is good], and he can make plays in small areas with his good hands.”

Sacco further clarified that “he was one of the forwards that really stood out.”
