Big money goalie placed on waivers today, Habs claims a veteran forward

This just in, the Seattle Kraken have placed goaltender Chris Driedger on waivers.

The 28 year old netminder has one season remaining on a deal that pays him $3.5 million per season. He has yet to play a game this season due to an offseason knee surgery.

Additionally, the Montreal Canadiens have claimed forward Chris Tierney off of waivers from the Florida Panthers.

The 28 year old forward has played just 13 games this season for the Panthers, putting up two goals and three points.
