Big time trade rumors around the Philadelphia Flyers.

While it may not be likely, there is a very interesting trade rumor around the Philadelphia Flyers, and it comes from a very reliable source.

TSN insider Pierre LeBrun is reporting that the Flyers, and most likely general manager Ron Hextall, are currently entertaining offers for their second overall pick in the National Hockey League Entry Draft.

LeBrun did not elaborate on the number of teams currently talking to the Flyers, nor did he share the identity of any of those franchises either. However if we had to speculate, there was talk earlier in the week that Nolan Patrick was visiting with the Montreal Canadiens earlier this week, which could indicate they were a team with interest in moving up the draft.

It has to be said as well that LeBrun believes at this stage it's still "more likely" that the Flyers keep the pick and use it in the draft, however the mere fact that they are listening would appear to indicate that the right offer could get them to budge.
