Big updates on the status of Frederik Andersen from Leafs practice today.

One of the primary concerns on the minds of Maple Leaf fans these days in the health of starting goaltender Frederik Andersen.

While he won't be playing this evening there were some very positive signs in practice today including Anderson getting his own net at practice. Andersen himself said he felt it was a good sign for his recovery process.

"Pretty good sign today," said Andersen as per TSN's Mark Masters. Felt pretty good."

"It's looking pretty positive ... still taking it slow"

Andersen remains questionable for Thursday's game against the Nashville Predators, and presumably that is a result of the Leafs wanting to proceed cautiously to avoid any futher injury to their number one goaltender. When asked what he needed to feel to know he was ready to go, Andersen admitted it was hard to tell.

"That I'm ready to play so it's pretty simple, but tough to know."
