Late on Wednesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired goalie Jack Campbell, who is already call to bring big changes for the team.

Campbell is expected to get the start tonight against the visiting Anaheim Ducks and could also get the start on Saturday in Montreal as the Leafs face the Canadiens.

Frederik Andersen, who is sidelined with a neck injury, took part in practice on Friday morning, which appeared to be encouraging news. However, now that head coach Sheldon Keefe has confirmed that he won’t play this weekend, the pressure already falls on Campbell’s shoulders.

As a former Los Angeles King, he probably has a few tricks to beat the Ducks, however, he will get the first taste of the Leafs-Canadiens rivalry in front of the loud fans at the Bell Centre.

Kyle Clifford, who was sent to Toronto in that Campbell trade, is also expected to make his Leafs debut tonight.

Time to say if this trade will pay off!
