The Chicago Blackhawks have re-assigned forward Tanner Kero to the Rockford Icehogs (AHL), the team announced on Friday. The 25-year old forward has registered three points in eight games this season.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Blackhawks in 2015, the Michigan Tech (NCAA) product registered 22 points in 72 games played in the NHL so far. At the AHL level, the Hancock, Michigan native produced 69 points in 103 games played.
The Blackhawks are playing against the Buffalo Sabres tonight.
