Blackhawks recall young prospect from the AHL

The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Vinnie Hinostroza from the Rockford Icehogs (AHL), the team announced on Friday. He is expected to be in the lineup tonight to face the Buffalo Sabres.

The 23-year old forward, drafted 169th overall by the Blackhawks in 2012, has registered 22 points in 23 games played in the AHL this season. He played 56 games in the NHL, registering 14 points.

At the AHL level, he produced 82 points in 112 games played (regular season and playoffs included).
