Blackhawks sign pair of forwards on 1st day of free agency
Add two new faces to the mix.
The Chicago Blackhawks have already bid goodbye to the likes of star forward Alex DeBrincat, and have also informed the likes of Dylan Strome and Dominik Kubalik that they won't be back in the Windy City.
But for now, general manager Kyle Davidson appears to have added depth to their forward lines, signing veteran forward Andreas Athanasiou and Max Domi to undisclosed deals:
Athanasiou, known for his blazing speed, has played with the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings over the course of his career, though he's been known to have attitude issues.
Meanwhile, Chicago will be the 5th NHL stop in the career for Domi, who has already suited up with the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Carolina Hurricanes.
