The 27 year old Subban has played just five games this season, all with the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs. He has a subpar 3.38 goals against average and .893 save percentage. He's got a career 3.02 goals against average and an .899 save percentage in 82 NHL games split between the Blackhawks, Vegas Golden Knights and Boston Bruins.
The younger brother of star defenseman P.K. Subban, Malcolm was selected in the 1st round (24th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
