Blandisi gets called for one of the worst acting jobs of the season.

This had to be one of the worst attempts at embelishment all season long, and unfortunately for Joseph Blandisi the referee got a great look at his terrible performance.

dueing the very first period of the match up between the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils, Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald gave Blandisi a slash on the back of the leg. Blandisi then did his best impression of a dying swan before curling up into the fetal position on the ice.

To make matters worse when the referee came to tell Blandisi he wasn't buying the show, he fell over the downed player. While the blow did occur, the reaction from Bladisi was ridiculous and both players ended up going for a trip to the box.
