We've already seen some pretty cool combinations in the National Hockey League of a set of brothers getting to play with one another at one time or another. The photograph of Scott and Rob Niedermayer raising the Stanley Cup together as members of the Anaheim Ducks in 2007 was one of the game's cooler moments, while several Staal brothers have gotten the chance to play with one another on multiple teams (Eric, Jordan and Jared with Carolina, Eric and Mark in Florida).

Could we soon be getting the chance to see both Jack and Quinn Hughes on the same team? Don't look now, but it's apparently being talked about in NHL circles, according to one source.

Take a look at this reported rumor that comes from Hockey Buzz that suggests that the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils are working on a major deal that would send Quinn to the East Coast:

Blockbuster trade involving Quinn Hughes being rumored

Quinn, who was taken by the Canucks with the 8th overall selection in the 2016 NHL Draft, has emerged as one of the game's most dynamic and speedy young defensemen. In 283 games, he's scored 26 goals with 215 assists. Meanwhile, Jack has garnered a reputation as one of the top forwards in the Eastern Conference, having nearly reached the century points mark last season with 43 goals and 56 assists.
