Blueger and Balinskis fight during the game, then hug it out afterwards
That's the way it should be! The first all-Lavtian fight each other in NHL history!
The Vancouver Canucks earned themselves their first victory of the season with a 3-2 overtime thriller over the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.
It was a very close game with goaltenders Sergei Bobrovsky (FLA) and Kevin Lankinen (VAN) both make spectacular saves to keep the game close. There was even a bit of rough stuff between the two teams, with Latvians Teddy Blueger and Uvis Balinskis dropping the gloves to give us the first ever all-Latvian fight in NHL history!

Old time hockey!
