Bo Horvat suffers what appears to be a gruesome injury this evening

UPDATE: Islanders head coach Patrick Roy told reporters post-game this evening that Horvat is officially out 'day to day'.

Now, obviously any of us who saw the injury are skeptical of that assessment. It seems likely that Roy has Horvat out day to day while they get him looked at by medical staff. A more definitive assessment of Horvat's status will likely come this upcoming weekend.

New York Islanders star Bo Horvat left tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks after suffering what appeared to be a gruesome injury to his left knee.
