One matter of business taken care of.

It's a period of uncertainty for the Boston Bruins, who have already lost several players from last season's record breaking campaign - and may in fact lose more, even in the crease.

Goaltender Linus Ullmark, who won the Vezina Trophy for the first time as the NHL's best goaltender, has been included in trade talks. Additionally, Jeremy Swayman has filed for salary arbitration.

But in the meantime, Bruins GM Don Sweeney has taken care of another goaltender within the system. Michael DiPietro, who was acquired last October by the Bruins from the Vancouver Canucks along with prospect Jonathan Myrenberg in exchange for Jack Studnicka, has been re-signed to a one year contract.

He spent the majority of last season with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL, posting a 19-9-0 record with 2.61 goals against average and .918 save percentage.
