Marc Savard’s jersey has been finally retired!
The OHL’s Oshawa Generals retired Savard’s number. His jersey’s been raised to the rafters last night, and it hangs alongside those of Eric Lindros, John Tavares, and Bobby Orr.
Savard (Savvy) had totaled 356 points in 178 games with the Generals. His 1994-1995 season alone saw him tally 43 goals and 96 assists in 66 games.
