Brad Marchand and his family step up for Panthers teammates who are away from family for Thanksgiving

Do you think Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney lays awake at night and regrets every decision he's ever made concerning former captain Brad Marchand.

After all, Sweeney is the guy who traded Marchand to the Florida Panthers at the trade deadline last season and Marchand has spent every minute since then proving that it was a mistake by Sweeney.

Marchand, of course, put together a Hell of a playoff run last season that culminated in a Stanley Cup championship. Marchand then signed a long-term deal that provides the Panthers with some cost-certainty for years to come. Oh... and he's starting this season off with 14 goals and 26 points in 22 games. Oh, and he's one of the best leaders in sports.

Example: According to teammate Luke Kunin, Marchand and his family are hosting Thanksgiving dinner for players on the Panthers who don't have any family in town to celebrate with.
