Brad Marchand angers fans by mocking former Oiler.

Florida Panthers star forward Brad Marchand has made it a habit of getting under the skin of the Edmonton Oilers, and even while away from the ice it seems that trend is showing no signs of slowing down.

Recently former Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Jones was commenting on his time in the National Hockey League and was singing the praises of the City of Edmonton while doing so. Jones stated flatly that, at least according to him, "There is no better city in the game of hockey to be a winning team than Edmonton."

Given the level of passion that we have seen around the City of Edmonton during the last 2 Stanley Cup Finals I can certainly appreciate the point that Jones is making, but it seems that Marchand did not appreciate those comments nearly as much.

When Jones' comments were published to social media, Marchand was quick to respond with a chirp directed at Jones.

"What you smoking boi," asked Marchand in response to the comments from Jones.

As you can see from the screenshot above, Marchand's comment resulted in quite a few nasty comments directed back at him as furious fans lashed out at the Panthers forward.

Marchand of course clearly relishes all of the back and forth and I suspect that those replying to him are giving him exactly what he was hoping for when he went out of his way to once again antagonize the Oilers.
