First-overall pick Connor Bedard has scored his first NHL goal in his second game for the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night against the Bruins in Boston.
The Bruins ended trying the game back at 1 moments later, however, captain Brad Marchand wanted to send a message to the rookie.
Marchand, as fiery as we know he can be, skated over to Bedard and attempted to get under his skin following the star’s first career goal.
We can’t tell what Marchand said to Bedard, but knowing how the captain likes to get into rivals’ heads, this had to be good.
Bedard remained calm, and who knows, he could use this as extra motivation to get another win for his Hawks.
