Brad Marchand roasts his own mother in savage fashion.

Brad Marchand has no chill, roasting even his own mother in front of the media.

Brad Marchand has for a long time now been known as one of the best trash talkers in the entire National Hockey League, but no one could have expected that his trash talk would extend even to his own mother.

On Friday night, Marchand and his Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final with Marchand himself playing a huge role in that victory including scoring the eventual game winner. Marchand's parents were in attendance for the game and the cameras captured their very excited reactions.

After the game Marchand was asked about his mom's reaction in the crowd and about what kind of hockey mom she was, with Marchand using the platform to absolutely roast his own mom.

"She is one that you need to put a muzzle on," said Marchand laughing.

Marchand was of course clearly joking and elicited a number of laughs from the media members in attendance, before explaining how he believes every player that has made it to the NHL comes from a supportive family.

"They've always been so supportive, like all of our parents," admitted Marchand. "I don't think there's a player in this league that can say their parents aren't the main reason they are here.

Marchand also once again showed his maturity and his transformation into a family man when he pointed out that winning was about much more than just the players on the ice in this series.

"When you go on a journey as a team and you get to the Finals... it's not just for you it's for everybody that helped you get here," said Marchand. "All your loved ones that are enjoying the moment, whether they are here or not."
