Right before the first game of the 2025-26 season. Marchand just knows how to get the spotlight on him right away.

No one doubted it, but Brad Marchand was more than ready for the 2025-26 season to get underway. His Florida Panthers rose the banner and kicked off the campaign with the first game of the calendar, against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks.

However, before puck drop, Marchand took the time to answers some questions from the ESPN panel with Mark Messier and newly added analyst T.J. Oshie. Usually we see P.K. Subban at the desk, but Oshie, who was recently signed, got his rookie lap on the show.

When Marchand commented on the addition of Oshie, he did not miss a chance at a hot take, commenting on the retired forward’s good looks and taking a funny shot at other panelists at the same time.

"Finally got a good looking guy on the panel up there, I'm happy!"

When his games are presented on TNT, Marchand usually makes fun of former NHLer Paul Bissonnette, and I feel like this zinger was also directed to him.

Oshie did repost the segment on his personal X account, saying Marchand made him blush on television.

Clearly, Marchand is not only ready to produce up front for the Panthers, but also to remain the best chirper in the league!
