Braden Holtby reaches important milestone

Braden Holtby reached an important milestone last night when the Washington Capitals defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1. Holtby registered the win, which was his 200th in the NHL. He accomplished that after only his 319th game, what makes him the second fastest to reach that milestone in the NHL history. The only one that reached it faster than Holtby is former Montreal Canadiens goaltender Ken Dryden

Holtby, 28, was drafted 93rd overall by the Capitals in 2008. He played 319 games in the NHL so far, registering a 200-76-31 record with a 2.32 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage. He won the Vezina Trophy (best goaltender) for the 2015-2016 season.
