The Ottawa Senators held practice on Wednesday morning ahead of their preseason game against the Montreal Canadiens later tonight, and unfortunately they already loss big when captain Brady Tkachuk was forced to leave the ice after taking a stick to the face.
According to early reports, Tkachuk was hit in the face, above his eye and needed to be taken to the trainer’s room for treatment.
We will add updates as they come from the team once the Senators provide more information on Tkachuk’s injury.
This is a developing story.
