Brandon Hagel signs lengthy new contract with Bolts

The Tampa Bay Lightning have enjoyed what they've seen from forward Brandon Hagel since they acquired him at the 2022 NHL Trade Deadline, and they've committed long term to him.

This morning, he's agreed to an eight-year contract extension that carries an AAV of $6.5 million:
