Brandon Sutter makes an NHL comeback... two years after his last game!
The veteran forward is back after signing a tryout contract!

According to CapFriendly.com, the hockey world's top NHL salary cap resource, the Edmonton Oilers have signed veteran forward Brandon Sutter to a professional tryout (PTO) contract.
Sutter has not played since 2021 after suffering from 'Long Covid-19' for the past two seasons. The 34 year old was struck down by Covid alongside nearly every one of his Vancouver Canucks teammates back in 2021. Since then, there have been rumors that he was considering retirement as he just couldn't get himself into shape like he needed. Evidently today's news means that he's back to full health and ready to make an NHL comeback.
The two-way centerman put up a career high 17 goals and 34 points for the Canucks back in 2016-17 and in total he has 152 goals and 289 points in 770 career NHL games split between the Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurricanes.
