Brawl between 8 year old hockey players sends 2 to the emergency room.

We have an unbelievable story to share with you.

A video coming out of Russia has found its way online and it depicts something that you're simply not going to believe, an all out brawl between two groups of very young hockey players. A report from Russian outlet Sport24 has identified the combatants in the video as a group of 8 year old hockey players, which raises the question where in the world were the adults during this entire fiasco?

The video shows the two teams lining up at center ice for what should have been the pregame warmup for both teams, but instead the players on both sides immediately begin attacking each other in a scene that defies belief.

Worst of all here is that it appears some of the youngsters were injured, although hopefully none of the injuries will prove to be serious. Sport24 reports that two of the players wound up in the emergency room as a result of the injuries they suffered during the brawl, however they were taken to the emergency room by their parents which hopefully is a sign that we are dealing with minor bumps and bruises in this case. There were others who also needed medical assistance, but presumably their injuries were treated on scene.

While there are questions to be asked about why these young players were engaged in this type of behavior in the first place, the real responsibility for this mess has to fall on the shoulders of the officials overseeing this contest. At 8 years old you can't possibly be held responsible, and there should have been a referee or even a number of parents that should have quickly put a stop this.

I will say in defense of those officials, there is some belief according to the report from Sport24 that this may have been staged on the part of some the children engaged in the brawl, something that would have made it very difficult to see coming. 

All of it was captured on video by distressed parents who can be heard yelling behind the camera as it all goes down.
