It sounds like we might have another trade before the night is done.

There are some very serious rumors suggesting we may be on the verge of another trade in the National Hockey League this evening.

First and foremost, according to a report from Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period, no less than 13 teams have members of their scouting staff in Los Angeles tonight to watch the Kings face off against the Edmonton Oilers. Also notable is the fact that Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin himself is in attendance with high ranking members of his scouting staff, and trade talks between the Habs and Oilers have been rumored for some time now.

Earlier tonight TSN's James Mirtle reported that the Oilers were close to getting a deal done that involved forward Teddy Purcell, and several rumors have suggested that the team most interested in Purcell are their opponents tonight, the Kings. Obviously this is hardly the only move the Oilers could make as rumors have suggested that some major changes could be on the way in Edmonton.

We are closely monitoring this situation as we expect another trade could come at any minute.
