It's the time of year where National Hockey League teams have to make big decisions regarding their rosters moving forward, and as a result we often see a huge number of roster cuts right around this period.
On Monday no less than 18 NHL players were sent to the waiver wire across a number of different teams, and while most of these players are likely to clear the waiver process, there are a few notable names on the list.
NHL insider Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports has released the full list of 18 players to hit waivers today and they are as follows:
