Another day, another two dozen players on the NHL waiver wire. While each player from yesterday’s crop successfully passed through waivers unclaimed, a few names on today’s list may pique the interest of general managers across the NHL.

Check it out:

The most intriguing names? Well former first round picks Jared Tinordi, Hunter Shinkaruk and Emile Poirier are bound to generate some interest.

Tinordi was drafted 22nd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft but has so far stumbled to begin his NHL career. He’s played just 53 games total for the Canadiens, Arizona Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins.

As for Shinkaruk and Poirier, the Calgary Flames prospects were both elite scorers at the junior hockey level but haven’t been able to translate their goal scoring success from junior to the pro game.

Anyone else on this list you’d like to see your team take a run at?
