One National Hockey League player is headed back to the team that originally drafted him.

A report from Sportsnet hockey insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed that 23-year-old forward Reid Boucher has been claimed on waivers by the New Jersey Devils, the team that selected Boucher 99th overall in the 4th round of the 2011 NHL draft.

Boucher was placed on waivers by the Predators after they themselves had claimed him on the waiver wire when the Devils were forced to make some roster moves that resulted on Boucher being waved.

Boucher had previously spent his entire NHL career with New Jersey.
