The Dallas Stars have agreed to terms of a one-year, $964,688 contract with 24-year-old defenseman Jamie Oleksiak.
The team has confirmed the news on its official Twitter account:
Oleksiak was selected 14th overall in the 2011 NHL draft. He played 41 games last season, in which he recorded five goals and two assists for seven points, as well as 37 penalty minutes. He played a total of 119 career NHL games over the course of five seasons with Dallas.
